Together with more than 50 cities and 11 countries, we are collecting as many cigarette butts as possible! We gather at 10 AM at the Beestenmarkt in Leiden and you can hand in the cigarette butts at our bridgehouse in Leiden, on the Marebrug.

From diaries and love letters to toys and keys, we find the craziest stuff in the canals every week. A few of the top finds we display in our windows. Come and see!

Almost every week we remove fresh bicycles from the canals and reunite them hopefully with a happy owner.

But litter is no joke. Especially plastic rings are dangerous for ducks, and unfortunately deadly for this duck from Alphen aan den Rijn who wasn't saved on time.
